I'm Michele- Wife, Mother and founder of Sage Interior Design

from an early age, I’ve been inspired by fashion, color, and the art of reimagining spaces—my mom often came home to find entire rooms rearranged. That creativity first led me into the beauty industry, where I worked with Lancôme and Estée Lauder, advancing from makeup artist to Regional Account Coordinator. Training advisors on color, aesthetics, and client connection taught me the importance of truly listening to people—an approach that continues to guide every design project I take on.

After raising my three children and immersing myself in their schools and community through volunteering and event planning, I returned to my passion with a new perspective. I launched my interior design firm to blend my eye for color and balance with a strong focus on livability and comfort. As the mother of a daughter with disabilities, I bring a unique awareness to my work, understanding the importance of creating thoughtful, inclusive spaces where beauty and function work hand in hand.

My love of travel and history continually spark my creativity, allowing me to draw inspiration from centuries-old architecture, art, and cultural traditions. Each journey adds depth and perspective, reminding me that design is not just about style, but about creating spaces that tell a story and stand the test of time. Beyond design, I find joy in entertaining family and friends and staying connected to nature in my garden—both constant sources of inspiration that shape my creative process.

Today, I design interiors that not only elevate style but also create a sense of warmth, welcome, and ease—spaces that truly reflect the people who live in them.
